My practice was pretty non-existent last week. I don't think I got up and meditated once.
I definitely feel the difference. I feel more anxious, judgmental, impatient.
Better luck next week... starting tomorrow morning.

I very much agree with you. I find that when I'm lazy my mind gets lazy along with my actions.
PS. I am so so so in love with this blog.
Thank you so much!!!!!!!!
Welcome! Glad you like it.
i get the same thing....have you tried walking meditation at all?
well, yes and no for me...
i remember it was one of the very first times i had ever meditated and i had been sitting for a decent amount of time. then the group was going to lead some walking meditation and i tried to get up and both of my legs were completely asleep! i had to sit there for a while so i cheated and kinda peaked out one eye to see what everyone else was doing! haha
OOO GOOOOOOODDDD. I LOOOOOOOOVE WALKING MEDITATION! psych, but no really, walking meditation is my favorite. well... more like the mindfulness walking, where I walk without purpose and appreciate everything. everything.
But focused walking-concentration meditation does lead into awesomely exhilarating samadhi... because i mean your in the zone... AND you're walking... that to me, is just amazing. Needless to say I've only had one of those. It happened intermittently for a combines total of 30 seconds in a stretch of 50 yards. It was in and out in and out, self noself self noself. Every time I got excited about my achievment I got further away from "my" infinite nature.
Hello Jessica.
lol... no, i haven't tried it yet, but now i'm looking forward to it.
i'll have to give it another go myself!
and hell to you to raymo!
i just attended a meditation session for the first time at a local Tibetan temple. my legs were completely asleep by the time the walking meditation started so i decided to opt out of it...but i am excited to try it next time.
