Tears

Tears: A drop of the saline, watery fluid continually secreted by the lacrimal glands between the surface of the eye and the eyelid, serving to moisten and lubricate these parts and keep them clear of foreign particles.
"Be strong they used tell me, Boys don't cry in our culture"
As if Boys ( Men??? ) were born heartless, emotionless, thoughtless, lifeless & what not less........and anyway whats culture got to do with expressing your emotions or rather why should we continue to falsely pretend? Crying does not need to be associated with sadness [ I would speak all this inside myself, soft enough for only me to hear ]

Tears, I don't know how to thank you for making me feel alive, well & connected to my life.
However miserable be the situation, you come to me only when all is over & settled..............my friend you comfort me.........
Thank fully by the grace of the stars you come to me when I'm alone. I don't want to brag about this but you make me stronger.............naturally & I also thank all those who bring you to me time & time again..............it seems we are inseparable as long as I breath..........
You make me hear my inner voice when you & I are together.........
Remember my school days, Oh come on! how can you forget????? When I used to flunk Maths & Physics ( and sometimes Chemistry ), I screamed and called out to you when the teacher yelled on me in front of the whole class for performing like an idiot or when she humiliated me in front of mom & dad when they came to sign my grade sheet....................you never came?
Ironically, you came when I topped in History & English ( and sometimes Moral Science & Art ) and the principal would ask me, " Do you get such good grades in all other subjects too"? Before I could answer that you would come and take me away from the situation.............
You taught me to be humble..........thanx buddy............thanx for coming!

Very intimate, tender. I, for one, find it difficult to fathom the nostalgia, but do love and appreciate the description and poetry of your post. It was fun & beautiful.

Namaste
